These two lovebirds from Texas decided to host their fabulous wedding at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. They traded the Texas spring humidity for crisp mountain views and budding blossoms. It was an absolutely gorgeous day in May at The Broadmoor. And by gorgeous I mean, nearly utopian… there was literally a family of swans complete with baby ducklings swimming on the lake.

Amy and Gentry were surrounded by nearly 300 of their family and friends and I came to quickly realize the stereotype of "good southern hospitality" to be true. These Texans were some of the kindest bunch I have had the honor of photographing. Their joy was pure, and their excitement contagious.

The decor and creativity that went into this wedding is off the charts! Such beautiful details everywhere, including the amazing floral designs by Design Works. I've never seen the Cheyenne Mountain Lodge at The Broadmoor look so chic!

Designer and coordinator Christine of Belle of the Ball in Texas was able to perfectly mesh rustic and classic elegance. She is absolutely amazing at what she does, and she does it with a JOYFUL heart! Which to me is so KEY to having a pleasant memorable wedding experience.

These people knew how to party! The live band Jakarta from Denver (one of my favs) rocked the house! The dance floor was full and gettin' CRAY! :)

One of my favorite parts of the whole wedding was Amy and Gentry's grand exit… complete with a Porche and fireworks! YES!

Amanda and Matt's downtown Denver Cheesman Park Pavillion and Clocktower wedding was a blast to photograph! Yes you read it right, a clock tower! The reception took place behind the lit up face of the historic clocktower overlooking Denver's famous 16th street mall.

These two pulled off a wedding that perfectly celebrates the look of love in the heart of Denver. This wedding was modern yet elegant, sophisticated yet a rocking party, spontaneous yet intentional.

Amanda and Matt are an adventurous couple who despite thier love for travel, have built a deep community within Denver and are at the heart of its laid back yet progressive culture.

The decor was bright bold and playful.... just like the huge UNRULY white balloons that nearly stole the spotlight for Amanda and Matt's 1st look!! :)
