Do you travel for weddings?

Absolutely!

I have traveled to multiple states to photograph weddings. I love a good adventure!

There are no travel fees for wedding/portrait sessions within the Denver/Colorado Springs/Ft. Collins area.
Please contact me for travel fees.

What is required to book my date?

For weddings I require a 1/3 deposit of your total wedding photography package cost. This retainer is nonrefundable and will assure you I will not schedule another booking on your wedding date and assures me you will not hire another photographer after myself for your event.

Family and portrait sessions differ slightly. Please contact me for more info.

Where will my Engagement/Portrait session take place?

I do not have a studio, by choice. I choose to photograph in natural environments or locations that mirror who you are as a couple/ or person.  I customize my engagement/portrait sessions to fit my clients. I hope you’re up for a mini adventure!

During weddings, I will make the absolute MOST of what I have available if we are confined to a specific venue/location. However, if you are open minded to venturing outside that location, things will ALWAYS turn out more unique and customized!

How long before I see my proofs?

Normal turnaround is from 3-4 weeks.

What type of equipment do you use?

Originally a film photographer, I have now graduated to a Canon 5D MK II  digital camera with an assortment of professional lenses and back up cameras. I will often bring my film camera along for hobby purposes to weddings and portrait sessions. I do offer those images to my clients upon request. Please let me know if you are interested in film photography for your session.

When it comes to lighting equipment, I tend to favor natural light over artificial light in most situations. My goal is to freeze what the eye actually sees, or in some cases BETTER than what your eye can see in low lit situations.

However being a wedding photographer I understand the importance of even tones during low lit receptions and do have the proper equipment and knowledge to produce a beautiful image in low light.

What should I wear?

There are a few things that make a photo POP!
1. Proper light
2. Comfortable subject
3. Great photographer (of course:) )
4. and last but NOT least … AWESOME STYLE!

If you want to glam it up for your photo session, by all means PLEASE DO!

I understand this is not L.A. and Coloradoans tend to have the "I am simple and natural" mentality… but for your photo sessions- leave this boring-ness at the door! :)

Dress up and dress BOLD and colorful! Fun shoes, cute accessories… etc.

Ok, ok… I know EVERYONE is not into fashion and style and please know I will not force you to be who you are not, or wear something that is not you...

But I do know most of you ladies out there have dreamed of playing dress up, looking phenomenal and feeling sexy… and an engagement/portrait session is the perfect time for that.
