I am a bit behind on blogging. This wedding took place last August, and I am just now getting around to showcasing it. I wrestled with the idea of starting fresh and only blogging my 2011 work but I just can't part with these beautiful memories. Not only do the bride and groom look forward to viewing their wedding photos, I as well feel a wave of nostalgia while reliving the weddings I photograph.

I am lucky to have the clients I have, and while not every one of them become our close friends I know I would give them big hugs if I were to ever run into them and I do think about what gifts and adventures life has brought their way since their wedding day.

As a wedding photographer I witness first hand the connection, love and adoration between the people I work with. I go from complete stranger to trusted confidant within months and I can honestly say I wake up the day of a wedding with a positive excitement for what the day brings.

I enjoy my job, I enjoy looking over past photographs, but most of all I just enjoy my clients.

Congratulation Caitlin and Jay! I hope you have found marriage to be adventurous, happy, and fulfilling! Happy one year anniversary (a few months early!)
