My husband and I are celebrating 5 years of marriage come December 28th so we decided to take a little adventure. We haven't had a getaway just the two of us since Harper was born and were in deep need of the healing power of the sea.

I will say Costa Rica exceeded my expectations in beauty adventure and relaxation. This small peaceful country has it all. We lounged on pristine beaches, hiked deep into the rainforest to a secret waterfall and skinny dipped in the crystal clear pools, surfed monster waves, kayaked the magrove swamps, drank water from fallen coconuts, encoutered wild monkeys, sloths, iguanas, deer, a million birds and breathtaking sunsets.

*sigh* I can still hear the ocean.
