Sarah and John Part 1 {Denver Engagement Photography}
Sarah grew up riding horses so I saw it only fitting to somehow incorporate the gentle giants into their engagement session. Thanks to a quick search and the generosity of a friend, we found oursleves in the presence of this black beauty Danny, a rare steed of some kind.
His presence takes you back to a camelot-esque romance, and Sarah makes for a perfect fair golden Gwenevere.
*Many thanks to Marta Alfred for allowing us use of her beautiful "kids". :)
*winning shot of the day*
This is just part one of Sarah and John's spectacular shoot featuring these beautiful horses...
Stay tuned for part 2.

The Brooks 3
Brian and I are lucky to have such genuine people surrounding us. One such person goes by the name Jason Cohen and he has blessed us once again.
Jason, a pro photographer, (jasoncohenphoto.com) and friend to my husband for some 8+years is the definition of a true giver.
Years ago when I decided to go the same route and start my own photography business he didn't hesitate in being by Brian and I's side through the unfamiliar process. He unselfishly invested his time, energy, photo secrets, and money into our success, and I am confident I would not be where I am with audreyhannahphoto without his kindness and willing heart to help.
SO it was only fitting for us to ask him to photograph our new little family. Even though we had to fly down to Louisiana, there really wasn't a question as to who I wanted to be the one to snap our first pro photos as a family.
As most of you know who are photographers, it is extremely hard to let go and let another artist take over your craft, especially when YOU are the one IN FRONT of the lens for a change.
I promised myself I wouldn't dictate too much because I am a VERY picky woman when it comes to having my photo taken.
But after reviling the shots I was so blessed to have fallen in love with nearly every photo Jason took. Maybe its because Harper stole the show, but I think its mostly because I felt very at ease with who was in control.
Thanks Jason, you continue to bless us and our wish is that we can somehow do the same.
Per my requests I asked Jason to photograph us using his hasselblad for a few frames, however most below are digi.
