Jordan Linscombe and my husband Brian go waaay back- as in 20 something years back. Being childhood friends Brian and Jordan found themselves moving to Colorado from Louisiana together and now find themselves planting roots and raising families here.

Mindi, is the owner of Something New Boutique, the top bridal and formal wear shop in Colorado Springs. Its always nice to have friends in the wedding indusrty to share stories and share inspiration.

Barrett (Bear for short) their son, is a bundle of energy and excitment. He is all boy and loves banging on everything availble...but mainly drums like his dad. I photographed him at 3 months and its incredible just how big and handsome he's gotten since then.

I am enjoying photogrpahing families more and more now that I understand the family dynamic and have gained HEAPS of patience for family shoots just by becoming a mother myself. I think I do more of these!

We decided to document what an afternoon in the life of the Linscombes looks like... and heres what became of it...

This wedding was a blast to photograph for so many reasons- touring Colorado wine country, the perfectly eclectic decor, the kindness of the bride and groom and thier families, and the famous PALISADE CO PEACHES... just to name a few.

The location, a winery and peach grove in Palisade CO, was the perfect scene for a warm and eclectic summer Colorado wedding.

When I say eclectic I mean AWESOME! This wedding was so unique and funky! From the little golden circus animals to the self brewed beer to the vintage boat on a quaint little pond, this wedding was so memorable and reflected Karen and Dustin's creativity and zest for life.

Guests were treated to wine from the on site winery and peaches grown from surrounding trees.

And as you will see below, these people knew how to have a good time. :)
